Place the new wax gasket on the toilet horn located at the bottom of the toilet bowl, and use plumber's putty to seal. Now, lower the bowl into place using the bolts to guide the exact position over the flange. Press firmly, and give a little twist, so you feel the bowl being pressed into the wax ring. Level the bowl, and make sure it is aligned with the valve. Tighten washers and nuts by hand. Fit the rubber gasket on the opening of the flush valve at the bottom of the tank. Place the tank over the bowl, and tighten the washers and nuts. Seal the base with plumber's putty.

Bottom mounted faucets are easy to remove and replace, but top mounted faucets are screwed in place by nuts that are positioned under the sink. Finally, tighten with a wrench, and use plumber's putty to seal the base of the faucet.
